Q.
Do you think all the matches played during IPL3 were fixed/rigged?
I feel yes, since the same was very much obvious during the final tie between Mumbai Indians & Chennai Super Kings.

Even since day 1, I never viewed IPL as IPL, I viewed it as ICEL or Indian Cricket Entertainment League. Because the emphasis is more on uh- entertainment :) Entertainment mean show business and show business means big bank money.
I see IPL as sort of WWE and then I see 50 over ODI and Test match as Olympics Wrestling.
U only start feeling bad when u look at IPL as a sport when in fact it's sport entertainment from day 1. U just watch, in next 5 years when IPL becomes really household, we'll start seeing "Delhi Dare Devil's fast bowler coach runs off w/ Chennai SUper Kings opening batsman" type drama also figuring into the play :)
When u go 4 sports entertainment, the organizers need matches that are guaranteed sales. This don't happen in 50 over ODI and test always. Typically, except for rare moments, teams that pull of miracles like 1983 India etc., the ppl who r expected to win usually win and many times, the matches r not that high thrilling.
In cricket, India could ...more
