Q.

I have discontinued paying outstanding payments to Citibank due to some reasons. Once i dorped a cheque on time but after recieving statement they shown non recieving the any cheque and they charged me late payment fee and others. This repeated 2-times and they have note waived this charges. So i have stopped to pay them and cancelled my card account. Pls help to guide me what they can do with me if i meet them and deny to pay them. What is the law or penality for bank defaulters who cannot repay to banks due to any reason and financial difficulties. Pls reply me immediately. Thanks. Asim Qure

Repay and settle it at the earliest, they may start troubling you at your office or residence and ask for a cheque, if the cheque is not getting honored they will file a case. Apart from that, they may black list you and future loan will be a problem.
