Clothing adds an element of surprise to beauty and make it interesting to discover and explore. The artist (e.g. M F Hussain) may paint it nude just as a gimmick to get into controversy get attraction of press and people. See both Ram and Ravan are remembered after all. It is for the painter to see the beauty of a woman with a sense of wise discrimiantion-- both as mother and as a sex-object. Clothing also enhances lajja-charms of the woman and therefore, there is no threat to the cloth business. Dr. RC YashRoyAnswered by Dr. Rakesh Chander Yashroy, 17 Aug '07 11:31 am
