I am from Maharashtra. We fondly remember this pioneer of modern Marathi poetry.With him Marathi poem for the first time stepped into the ModernWorld coming out of the bygone worlds of abahgas,powaras etc; Not only the subjects underwent a transformation but ,and more so,the content lead by a cry against social inequalities.
