Take NH 34 towards North Bengal from Kolkatta till you join NH 31 after a small village cluster called Dalkola. It will be after Malda and Raiganj. After you get on NH 31 its a straight drive upto Bagdogra via Kishan Ganj and then straight upto Siliguri. Proceed on NH 31 to reach Jalpaiguri or else take other route to reach Jalpaiguri. Further proceed on NH 31. You will come across a junction of 4 roads. One will be towards Alipur Duar, next would be towards Cooch Behar. You will have to take the third way towards Bhutan. You will pass via Jaldapara Wild Life Sanctury and Hashimara and will reach a town called Phuntsholing on the border of India and Bhutan. From Phuntsholing take the road to Semtokha to reach Thimpu the capital city of Bhutan.
