Q.

It is high time that Pakistan is declared as a terrorist / rogue nation. India should make all out efforts to get the support of the international community to accomplish this. Your views please.

Do we really want the US or any other nation to confirm that PAK is a terrorist breeding ground. Cant the world see , cant the other world leaders do something about it, I mean bring this up for discussions in all forums. Be it the parliament, the budgetary sessions, the filmfare, the oscars, the cricket stadiums, the TV channels, the radio, the blogs. Let us all condemn the attack and atleast express our feelings thru such forums. Collective opinion across people, across countries will make some difference. Lets begin with rediff.

Good luck to us....especially considering Pakistan is MDP'd with the US, who CONTROLS the international community (except for maybe North Korea). If me & you know off Pakistan's support & involvement in terrorist acts & w/ terrorist groups- the chances are- the government of the US knows even more.

But an MDP w/ the US goes a LOOOOOOOOOOOONG way.

If you get on the US's "good graces" you can get away with anything. Even in WWII, the US charged & executed top Nazi Germans for "human right violations" for gassing Jews. But at the same time, IMperial Japanese topshots who were conducting LIVE BIOLOGICAL EXPERIMENTS ON PEOPLE were given general amnesty.

Don't be expecting justice in the "international community"- the only thing you'll hear are speeches & sob stories.

The Government of India lacks dynamism&boldness in this regard.Experts or adviser to the Govrnment also is interested to please America rather to covince othernations to declare Pakistan as rogue or terrorists State.Thre is no concrete foreign policy envisaged by this geovernment. This Government,it appears to be more interested in retaining in Power at least by pleasing minority.
