If the politicians are honest enough, Yedyurappa should put in his papers and boldly fight his case, both legally and politically and also the party should also insist on his stepping down, before fighting the case against corruption in delhi. It is said, people living in glass houses should not throw stones, and so It would be fitting for the BJP to put its house in order

No, it is upto the govt to accept or reject the report. In this case the same govt against whom the enquiry was conducted, is in power. Definitely the same govt will reject the report and if possible file cases against Hegde.
