I think Media is indulging in unneccessary Hype. Anyone who travels abroad and especially at Newark Airport knows and has undergone at one time or another through checking and has faced the same plight as Shah Rukh Khan. When a person arrives or departs from an airport noone is bothered especially in international airports whether a person is a film actor or not. Especially most Americans who are employees at Newark Airport for example maynot even know that Shah Rukh Khan is an actor. What would have caught their eagle eyes would be
his surname. Anyone with a Muslim name is immediately under cautious eyes. Most of those bearing these names
Have got their baggage checked and rechecked and got them throughly scanned this has become almost a matter of routine since the 9/11 incident. However tempers are sure to flare up since it is a favorite actor. And the Media believes in keeping the fire smouldering to get in spotlight by keeping shah rukh in spotlight :-))))))))

I am not a fan of SRK, however the reports quote He was 'Detained', which means he was taken to a holding cell seperately for QNA with a customs/immigration officer. which partially a shameful fact on US immigration office as they cannot differenciate between a world renowned personality and a similar surname with terrorist link. This outragiious not just because SRK was held up but, In past 'The Mcdonald frechfrie operator rejects' at US customs had detained folks like His Honor APJ abdul kalam and Azim premji. Shame on US officials and shame on Indians who do not voice there protest.
