Now, there are the deeds we do for this world and those for the hereafter. This is a definite state of affairs that applies to those who believe as well as for those who do not believe. It applies to the believer in God as much as it applies to the strongest of atheists. While some may escape from reaping the seeds they sowed throughout their livelihood on earth, they will definitely be given their dues once they leave this world and crosses into the world of the hereafter. Some will dismiss this fact by rejecting the idea of a hereafter but then, it is only and only when one wakes up in the hereafter that this reality will become the only state of affairs they will be dealing with for ever. In short, while the religious holy books warns people of the hereafter, there is no tangible evidence that a life in the hereafter do not exist!
It has to be understood that there exist a record of our deeds, of all the actions we are responsible for in all of our lifetime from the world above to ...more

Who said God is recording our deeds?
That is all pure bull shi-t propagated by out dated religions.... that god rewards and punishes people. That God torments people in his special torture-camp called Hell. So childish and naive !
Why shud God punish people? where is the need? God is love. God gives freedom..... freedom to live the life of our choice and enjoy the fruits of our deeds, sweet or bitter!

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said,

"Allah says, 'If My slave intends to do a bad deed then
(O Angels) do not write it unless he does it;
if he does it, then write it as it is, but if he refrains from
doing it for My Sake, then write it as a good deed (in his account). (On
the other hand) if he intends to go a good deed, but does not do it, then
write a good deed (in his account), and if he does it, then write it for ...more

If you believe that there is God within us, then you have an answer. Otherwise I cannot convince you.

There are two Souls within us. One passive and the other one exploring and enjoying along with our senses and body. This passive Soul is the one which though seemingly passive stores and has a record of all our deeds.

Many preachers have experienced the presence of the two Souls and they have been preaching. The Christian faith believes in the existence of the Soul and the Spirit which is similar to what I have referred to. I will not be able to comment about other faiths.
