Shintz, its a convenient myth for the established stars that their offspring too are starlets and they will shine as if they are born with those supposed qualities and are prototype of Veer Abhimanyu who had nurtured the warrior symptoms even when he had movements in Subhadra`s womb. Barring few exceptions, it proved futile attempts only. It is not unknown fact that many yesteryear box office holders have invested their earning accrued from industry (ok, let us say their hard earning money) and, naturally, they hold the reins in their hands only while assigning the artists. Automatically, if it is their home production then who else is there easily available to dance on floor in the attire of hero, but their `ladle bete or betiyan`? Thats the big and even antic tradition way back from late Raj Kapoor and still in vogue in same stream. Raj signed Rishi, but before that he pasted Randhir (a sheer dumb barrel) on screen; Dilip Saab is not blessed with a child, so he caught the sleeve of h ...more

Its purely individual based issue...if stars of yester years had to fight hard to remain in d competition, then todays stars have to face a tougher competition...u cant take credit from either of them...being the sons/daughters of stars is causing more problem for them...instantly we tend to compare them wid their fathers or mothers...Thare cud be only one Big-B...no doubt abt it...then why sud the talent of abhisek be sidelined under the shadow of his father's all time enviable talent ....the situations have changed , so as the task of acting and finally the viewing approch from us...Thanks again for the question.

Star sons & daughters like Sunny Deol, prasunjeet, karishma, Kareena, kajol were both talented & impressive and in some cases they did a better job than their father & mother.....and specially at Kapoor(Prithiraaj, Raaj, Shashi, Rishi etc) family...

At recent time, competion is much.....industry is flooded star or non-star sons/daughters.....so, other star sons/daughters r struggling much like TUSHAR KAPOOR, Neil Nitin Mukesh, RANVIR, ABHISHEK, SHRUTI HASSAN, SONAKSHI SINHA, SONAM KAPUR, NARMMADAA are still struggling to get a perfect berth at industry......THOSE DAYS ARE GONE WHEN FILM INDUSTRY WAS IDENTIFIED BY FEW ACTORS/ACTRESSES..... Time shall prove the rest...
