How do you feel when you are on a mountain , silent cold noght and lots of trees. the sound of air ! eerie or do you enjoy ?

My friend and I had been to the Tirunelli forests in the Wynad District of Kerala, bordering Karnatka.It was total silence except for the chirping sounds of birds and the sound of water splashing against the stones in a nearby rivulet.It was about 2 pm, still the time appeared to be past 6.30 pm.because of the thick forest cover.Honestly speaking, I felt uneasy in the total silence.
