How do you feel to stay at relatives' or friends' house . Is hotel a better option if available within reach and pocket permitting?

If the friends & relatives are close enough than its better to stay with them to enjoy the togetherness. It all depends upon how good your terms are with them & how comfortable they are with your stay!!

Though I miss those arrangement.. living with relatives and friends are fun.. till you are participatory in the household and expenses and do not make them feel that you are burden.

I would prefer hotel rather than staying at my friends' or relatives' residence.

If it is for a day or two then , it would be better to stay with relatives' or friends' house, as they will feel good to spend some time with you, in this case also we need to think about their situation too, like size of their family ....... otherwise it would be better to make your own arrangement in the hotel as per your budget .........

Yes....the hotels are always better....though one visit to the relative house at their convenience is OK.... This is good in today's world of shrinking mindset....however it depends on the chemistry between the two....in general...
