How do you feel for festivals, what is our bounden duty for the festival ?

I love festivals that help others and not those that disturb others,
for example : there is a festival which invites peopel to first give money to the poor and the needy before performing orayers to the extent of 2.5 kgs. of wheat or rice or its equal amount for every member of family. the poor i fed first and then festival is celebrated
second is another festival , where the food item on this day is divided in 3 parts, the first part for the poor , second for the relatives and third for self
these 2 festivals now celebrated by majority in the world are best

Feel very tired because of heavy work like cleaning, purchasing prior of festival
