How do you compare ancient gurukul system of India with current education system? What are the advantages and the disadvantages of each?

Ancient cannot be compared with new education system..Gurukul were run by rishis and most learned scholars and they were devoted ppl.Students were hard working giving due respect to teachers and learning everything including archery and studies in all sector science as well as arts and maths commerce everything
