The fear of failure is perhaps the strongest force holding people below their potential. In a world full of uncertainty, a delicate economy, and countless misfortunes that could happen to anyone, its easy to see why most people are inclined to play it safe.

Self belief, Good preparation and \" CAN DO \'\' attitude that is cultivated over the years, enable you to move forward in life irrespective of the situation you face. If you see around in life, we see innumerable situations that people deal so successfully. Take for instance, 1) A doctor who has to conduct several operations in a day ( He might have performed past surgery well or it might have gone the other way too, Still it does\'nt deter him from giving his best in the next operation ). 2) A lawyer has several cases / litigation to handle. He might have tasted success and defeat in his cases, but he still gives his best when he knows he is on strong ground legally. 3) A Ferrari race driver, might have come 3th place 2 weeks back and 9th place a month ago. Still he believes he will come first place in his next race. 4) A student might have failed in a particular subject, but he prepares well and better this time, to come out in flying colors again ... All these show life is a ...more

You get afraid that you might fail only if you do not have faith in your capabilities. Before you take up any venture you must develop an ability first, hone up your skill, develop your knowledge and set out to tackle it. Then you will not be afraid of the failure. You fear only because you are not prepared for it.

The one battle most people lose is the battle over the fear of failure...try...start...and begin... and you will be assured you have won the first round.

many things are not done for the want of little courage to attempt them. we lose wonderful opportunity to experience thrills, happiness and even fame, because we feel we do not have it in us to do it. we did not even try, we were so damn sure. the starter\'s block is a mind set which we have to remove if we have to achieve some thing.

if we ultimately give up after starting, we can convince ourselves that it was indeed beyond our capability. if we have not even attempted it, we will never know. there will always be a doubt.no one can be a toatal failure if he dares to try and do some thing worthwhile.
