Well,my own personal graph doesn't say so.
Cause I am an entrepreneur for sure, and I guess fairly creative too.
So many celebrities from the line of glamor and sports are successful business Giants.
Arnold Schwarzenegger,Bruce Willis,Sachin Tendulkar,Shilpa Shetty,Drew Barrymore, Catherine Zeta Jones, Kapil Dev,Saurav Ganguly,Suniel Shetty to name just a few.
Ofcourse there are wannabes like Sharukh Khan,Priety Zinta etc... but then ,they too have crated quite a bit of stir,if we go by the fact, that they re-emerge to stake their claims.
I do agree, creative people are considered to be emotional and impulsive..but in the marketing scenario of the present times, and the unpredictabilities attached,it can not be ascertained what would work, and what wouldn't.
It isn't too smart to go by the books, after all.
It is a time to listen to the gut feelings and pay heed to the impulses.
The management mantras are writ, largely in the field itself.
So says my understanding of the world of b ...more

Creative folk many times have the next best selling idea, but they lack the groundworks talent to materialize it. Groundworks talents includes bargaining, finding a venue for doing the business and negotiating w/ the owner etc.
For that, such folk typically keep a wingman very close.
