Money and political Power could be the reason , the Medias banish controversial reporters to avoid logger heads with the Power barons and industrialists. SEBI could well settle satisfied with empty formalities and paper work only . It was never found effective in many irregularities in the public issues since it's inception. The capital market regulator had issued showcause notices to the two Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group companies and its executives on Jun 7 in a matter related to stock market transactions, and asked them to reply to the notices by Jun 30.SEBI said neither did the noticees inspect the documents nor did they file any reply to the notices.SEBI has now asked them to inspect the documents on Aug 17 and submit their replies to the showcause notices by Aug 27, before appearing for personal hearing on Sep 3, following a request by the two companies to inspect the documents and postpone hearing.Satish Seth, executive vice chairman, Reliance Infrastructure, S.C. Media is a bitch especially Indian media. You simply cannot afford to compare it with the independent media of the West and U.S.
