Pritam Chakraborty used to initially compose ad jingles. He befriended friends from the industry like Shantanu Moitra, Sanjay Gadhvi and Jeet who were also trying to make it big in the industry. Sanjay Gadhvi directed Tere Liye and roped in buddies Pritam and Jeet to give music. This was Pritams debut in Bollywood as he partnered with Jeet to give music for the movie.
