"If you can't explain it to a six year old... you don't understand it yourself." - Albert Einstein
and simplicity of thinking and presentation is an art...its easy to be esoteric...but that probably signifies that we are evading the issue with complexities...and the bottom line is that we dont understnad it ourselves good enough to explain in simple terms.
So a complex high level understanding needed for simple solutions and erudition ! That complex :-)

Yes,Siple living is the highest art of living.Since it is the 'highest art' that demands great lot of personal discipline and guts to be simple in all walks of life which is really a tough task and possible only for the truely true human beings.

In character, in manner, in style, in all things, the supreme excellence is simplicity ....once should be simple but not always simpler because then fools and stupids may take him as their counterpart. As this rule may be true for humanity but technical skill is mastery of complexity, while creativity is mastery of simplicity . The real art is to break the complex problems to small small simple problem and solve it with our creativity ..... As Einstein tells "
Three Rules of Work: Out of clutter find simplicity; From discord find harmony; In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity. Your question is not so simple and that's why I made a complex answer :)
