The best action is to reduce risk factors early in life. The goal is to not have angina, a heart attack, or sudden death in the first place. Although no one can escape aging, inherited risk, or gender, certain risk factors are in your control.

Stop smoking and using nicotine in any form.
Control high blood pressure.
Lower blood fats (through diet, exercise, and medications).
Maintain a healthy weight.
Control diabetes and blood sugar
Do not use stimulants such as cocaine or amphetamines.
If a person already has atherosclerosis and angina, they can learn to take precautions to avoid having symptoms. Avoiding the "triggers" will help keep the person comfortable and free of symptoms.

First, you should avoid any activities and habits which will possibly induce the angina pectoris.

For example, to avoid the excited mood, the hypertension or overtired; to avoid walking fast, running; do not chase after the bus; to avoid the cold wind blowing in the front; wear mask in the cold season, keep warm and control the diet; do not overeat, especially eatting the supper less is suitable; and avoid by all means overeat and overdrink. Drink little wine or not drink, do not smoke. Drink little strong tea or coffee. The life must be regular. Pay attention to alternate work with rest; play little mahjong as far as possible. It is not suitable to focus highly on work, too long. Usually the mood need keep good. Perfom suitably setting-up exercises to music, practise taijiquan, train qigong and so on exercise. Do not watch ball sports or thrilling films and television plays.

And then, select the medicine correctly under the instruction from doctors, and insist to take pills
