U hv to go to South Mumbai. Go to the Gateway of India & avail the ferry facility there for Elephanta Caves . Keep sufficient time in hand, as plenty to see !!.

There is regular ferry service between gateway of india & the caves, which i think is suspended in the monsoon season due to rough seas. verify & proceed.
