How could i add Desktop icon to quick launch in Win XP?
It was there earlier but i deleted it accidentally.

If the Show Desktop icon is deleted from Quick Launch, the procedure below will recreate the file.
Open Notepad and enter the following text:
[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop
Save the new file as "Show Desktop.scf" (without quotation) then drag and drop the icon on the Quick Launch bar or whatever location you want the shortcut to appear.

1. Click in Show Quick launch by right clicking task bar and properties
2. Go to quick launch folder as below
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch
3. After entering into quick launch folder, paste the desired short cut in it and close.
4. Now the same can be seen in desk top task bar.
