Are you referring to being Big fish in small pond or small fish in Big pond. Either way, some comparison is needed to establish being smaller and bigger. There is saying in Punjabi - mann nivan te matt oochi, something similar to simple living and big thinking. I am too small a person in this world but my dreams are really big.
