Date of Birth: 16 July 1984 Profile: Katrina was born to a Kashmiri father and an English mother, therefore making her half Indian and half English. She grew up in Hawaii and at the age of 14 she started modelling when she was approached by a jewellery campaign. Currently she lives in Mumbai, India and is dating Salman Khan; one of bollywood's leading actors. After working with a photographer, she appeared in many adverts and on the front of many magazines. These include Pantene, Veet, Kodak, Samsung and L'Oreal. In 2005, she was chosen as the face of the year for the Lakme India Fashion Week. Her acting career began in a Telegu film called Malliswari in which she earned Rs.70 lakhs. However her real bollywood debut was in the film Boom which some critics did not like very much.
