Sorry I do not agree. The public is as guilty as the politicians for the state of corruption in India. A responsible citizen is one , while he is abide by the law he must also try to prevent others not go against law. When the citizen of the country became responsible their leaders ( politicians and others including religious heads) also tend to behave properly heeding law. Unless we clean the system from the root there wont be effective result from what you advocate.

The recent happening has shown that the UPA's action was senseless and barbaric . This necessitates as u say some power in the hands of public to recall elected members , an effective Lokpal bill and RTI . The sooner we do better it is else the country will be ruined by the congress and its autocratic rule .

Why are u writing such a radical question sir, Just 03 days back the BABA was thrown out of Delhi as he also dictating certain safe guards for public and as he said his PUBLIC is still missing. So better discuss about the health of Rajnikanth or start abusing Pakistan, but never try to dictate any thing in front of these democratic dictators
