Yes i read in news papers past month. I am proud of Mr. Bobby Jindal as an India.

Piyush "Bobby" Jindal (born June 10, 1971, in Baton Rouge) is the Republican Governor-elect of the U.S. state of Louisiana. He defeated eleven opponents in the jungle primary held on October 20, 2007, including two prominent Democrats, State Senator Walter Boasso of Chalmette and Louisiana Public Service Commissioner Foster Campbell of Bossier City, and an independent businessman, John Georges of New Orleans.

Yes he did but there are a lots of compromises that he made starting from change of religion to placating. I believe, if you read Shakespeare, Cowards die manay a times before their death whereas Brave men die but once. It would have ben great if he could hold his grounds and then show his mettle. Any election won is commendable so our best wishes to the Governor too from the petty self that we are.
