He led one of the most important administrations in India\'s modern history, overseeing a major economic transformation and several incidents affecting national security. Rao accelerated the dismantling of the license raj. Rao, also called the \"Father of Indian Economic Reforms,\" is best remembered for launching India\'s free market reforms that rescued the almost bankrupt nation from economic collapse. * Introducing the SEBI Act of 1992 and the Security Laws (Amendment) which gave SEBI the legal authority ...more

How does it make a difference to anyone. Let it be conferred on Scientists like Dr Madhavan Nair & Co. who are burning their mid-night oil even to explore the possibilities of the existence of WATER in moon. You may be aware as warned by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam that water will be a rare commodity on earth by the year 2070 and people will die without water. Let people living and making efforts for the well being of man kind be honoured. Had Shri Narasimha Rao Ji been alive then it is worth to confer him with B.R.

He is fully deserving for Bharat Ratna as he is the bold PM with MMS as finance minister, put underhold stupid policies of Nehru regime for open market economy, results of which we are seeing now of self reliance, beating down recession, improved GDP, improved income levels, improved purchase power. We can cancel Bharat Ratnas awarded for earlier PMs if needed to provide one for Mr PV Narasimha Rao an ortaor in 16 languages and having great courage of nullifying Nehru family rule for at least 5 years.

Rather, while all the former P.Ms for full terms (probably except Vajpayeeji) have been awarded it, Mr. Rao too may be given.
