Q.

Charge against Maharashtra's Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) There is political pressure on it in handling the Malegaon blast probe and that led to diversion of attention from the main and deadly risk of Terrorism.
Was not there political pressure on ATS and was ATS working professionally ?

Going by the allegations of torture and illegal detention (which will soon be investigated by courts) Karakere seems to be a crooked cop who was probably trying to get some political favor. And he spent all his and his forces on Malegaon while doing nothing to prevent another strike. This makes him guilty of negligence.

This is BJP/RSS spewed BS honestly ji. Mumbai terrorist blast could've been avoided if businesses like Taj, Oberoi Trident etc acted a bit mor responsibly after receiving terrorist threat warning from ATS & RAW. Why are we blaming ATS if the hotels like Taj Oberoi Trident themselves presisted w/ using a sole metal detector run by a bellboy as security....AFTER receiving terrorist threats that too. Couldn't hotels like Taj Oberoi etc hire a security consulting firm & a CISF platoon given they charge $500 per night? ATS is being made to suffer for laziness, complacency and sheer carelessness of our industrialists.
