Aloo Potoler jhol
Take 2 potatoes - peeled and cut into pieces
Take 4 parwals - cut into roundels
One teaspoon of oil
half teaspoon of paanch phoron
salt to taste
a little haldi powder
Gas for cooking and gas stove
Heat the oil in a wok. Add the panchphoron. When it begins to splutter add the vegetables. Stir a bit. Add the salt and haldi. Add a 200 ml lot of water . Cover and cook till veggies are done. Remove from flame.
Instant SAMBAR within 10 minutes :
Cook toor daal in presure cooker.
Cut drumsticks, baingan, aloo, gajar , bhindi ,1 tomatoe ,a clove of garlic,and allow it cook it with the boiled mashed, dal .
Add 1/2 tsp Haldi ,2 tbsp Eastern Sambhar powder, and 3/4 Tbsp Tamrind pulp, to the above mix and allow the whole curry to boil for 2,3 minutes.
