Aryan invaders from the north conquered the Dravidians about 1500BC. The Aryans were related to the Persians and Europeans. Their language, Sanskrit, is similar to Greek and Latin. Linguists classify Sanskrit as an "Indo-European language." Most of India's languages are rooted in Sanskrit or Dravidian languages.

During the 19th century, some Europeans con-cluded that people who spoke Indo-European languages were responsible for most human progress. They regarded the Germanic people as the "purest Aryans" and said they were superior to other races. Later study proved these conclusions false, but Adolph Hitler and the Nazis used these ideas to exterminate Jews, Gypsies, and other "non-Aryans."

Persians, Alexander the Great's armies from Greece, and Huns from Central Asia also invaded India in ancient times. About AD800, Muslims first began to settle near the mouth of the Indus River in modern Pakistan. Muslim warriors began to move south about AD1000 ...more

Like everything else related to India, there is no unanimity of opinion on this issue also even among scholars of Indian origin, let alone the westerners. We do not seem to realise that a scientific study of history is very important. When everyone is trying to interpret history as per his or her personal prejudices and choices in the absence of logically researched versions, this kind of confusions are unavoidable. Finally, we may remember the famous saying ' any nation that forgets its own history, is cursed to repeat it.'It may not be long before we go under the white man's rule , even by proxy. The situation now prevailing in India is much like what it was in the 17th century and early 18th century, when the Europeans were setting up their bases.

It is generally assumed that Aryans from the north were the first to conquer India. This theory of Aryan Invaders has now been abandoned in light of newer research which suggests that an Aryan immigration is what actually occurred. Research is still being conducted as to the nature and extent of this immigration.

For all guys who think we were misleaded by Biritish Missionaries so that they could make us all Indians think that we were slaves since ancient times, please read this blog and feel proud:

Nothing like "Aryans" ever existed. Arya is a sanskrit word meaning "Noble".
Prakrit was bestowed with culture and polished in Bharata Varsha. This later became famous world wide as "Sanskrit". Aryas moved all over the world to teach our culture and language of GOD, Sanskrit .That is why we see Sanskrit in most of the languages including Arabic, English, Spanish, Serbian, Persian, Tagalog, Russian, Latin.

How can our history be as young as 5000 years. The vedas and its calculations show we are more than a million years old a country. How can the world rely on books written by people who never knew a word from Sanskrit?
Isnt it a superstition to belive blindly in the west, forgetting the scriptures that are so old and almost identical calculations and scri ...more

It doesn't matter who first entered or conquered India. The most important issue is, whether the so called invadors, migrators or conquerors consider today India as their motherland? Do they love it as their own and protect its honour and dignity? Or they are indulging in clandestinely attacking it in every possible manner as per the dictats of their religion? The answer will tell apart who is invador, an enemy and who is that belongs to this country. Everyone has a history or a religion. Do the alleged conquerers, the Aryans carry any history of their homeland Persia? Do the Aryans of India have any religious book which says they came from another country? Religious books of other invadors have their source of inspiration indicating clearly some foreign land and foreigner as the propogator of their religion. Do the north Indians, the so called Aryans, have any thing similar to invadors. The so called conquerers, the Aryans, the north Indians, love India as their motherland. Indian A ...more
