Apart from 4 passengers in the car including the driver the load capacity should not extend more than 60 - 70 kgs

In Short see the engine manual and it's tuning for long answer read below.

Well 800 CC is just the Cylinder capacity of Engine , It depends on which Engine you are talking about as well and load under what circumstances.
Cylinder capacity does not mean anything in itself what matter is how much power out put it produces at what RPM and how much torque it delivers at what RPM.
These figures are given by Power Curve and torque curve of the engine.

The engine power is given by BHP ( Break Horse power ) or Horse power available at breaks , The Maruti 800 CC engine is some 40 BHP but this power delivery is not uniform , The max power is at certain RPM or engine.

On the other hand a small HMT tractor is also 30 - 40 BHP but it can haul a lot of load becuase the initial torque is very high at low RPM so it can set the cart in motion but in this case top speed is very limited as torque at high RPM is very less.

A tata nano engine produces 38 BHP with just 2 Cylinders and 624 CC s ...more

Engine is one of the factors affecting pulling of load. Carrying capacity depend on many systems of the auto like transmission, suspension, carriage space etc. Even road condition affect them. Maruti 800 cc car hav a safe load carrying capacity between 300 to 400 kg. Maruti van actually carried more. but when negotiation a bend the load (human) at the back seat tend to move and exert load towards the opposite side to the direction of the turn. Such lateral load safety can not be easily calculated.
