Absolutely must for everybody, to think about their, family and after retirement.
Its a must get updating in their field of expertise (including familiarity of the IT) and what the industry is demanding (awareness, understanding, comprehension, realization) and how others are competing (experience, expertise, skill, know-how).

It is always better to know what the capability of the person and how best one can demand from company will definitely land in a better place.

Moreover the additional knowledge or expertise in other too will help at crisis (recent recession has given a good blow, A stitch in time saves penny and cloth, one should keep track of expenses and try to control or to cut unnecessary or those which can be minimized or postponing the purchase what one want than what is really needed) or at the time of retirement, so that one can work as a consultant (whether spouse or others income is countable or not).

I do my work as I am supposed to do it ,not for any past, present oe future.
Work is the pleasure,do work for joy./expect no result extraordinary.

.ok.everybody wants for a better future and they try for this by doing any kind of work.but always remember nobody knows abt their future so just WORK AND WORK HARD FOR YOUR BEST FUTURE.
