Low fat & high fibre diet. Walk for 30 minutes a day. If your LDL is above 200 then don't ever miss the tablet. Monitor the lipid levels every couple of month.

Normal diet -nothing abnormal; regular exercise - no stress; morning walk - normal - not over overspeed; a cup of black cofee with normal suger in early morning insted of bed tea is the key to normal cholestrol. Now I am over 68 and doing this from the last 40 years and have no problem of any kind.

In order to reduce cholestrol specially LDL stop eating fried food, eat lot of nuts like walnut, almonds, fruits etc. Do brisk walk for atleast half hour per day.

5 to 10 grams of soluble fibre in a day reduces LDL cholesterol by 5 %. This occurs in kidney beans, brusseis sprouts, apples, pears,psyllium,barley and prunes. Further, walnuts and almonds help reduce blood cholesterol.
