Gambling and drinking leads to the destruction and strife in human life and thatswhy in all the major religions it's forbidden. But in modern corporate world drinking has become a favorite act if not sports and unfortunately even the Moslems are found to be indulged in it. To save humanity it becomes our top priority to promote good habits and denounce the bad ones.

I think we should again reinstate the basic teaching and responsibility of every Moslem, which is:

Amr bil-Maroof = To Promote the doing of Good
Nuhay anil-Munkar = To Promote the staying away from Evil

Without which we cannot claim any goodness. Islam needs quality now not the quantity, as the number of Muslim names is on the rise but the Islam is being pushed aside.

For this reason the open mindedness of the all-encompassing religion, Islam, took consideration and concern of the human passions. When alcoholic drinks and gambling were intended to be banned, their prohibition was not revealed immediately, but firstly all the disadvantages ...more
