Have you heard the song "hey shona, hey shona" from the movie Ta Ra Rum Pum..... is "shona" a bengali word?

Not exactly dear friend. Shona, is literally translated as 'gold'. It is a phrase used to name somebody you love, or a cute little kid, etc.

Yes SHONA is bengali word ...
also SHONA is Bantu language spoken in Zimbabwe....

I heard this name many times in movies as the hero used to say for the heroin shona , darling , so i think it means like that
