Have you heard that the residents of some places in Mumbai (like Bhandup / Panvel) are so much scared of dacoit gangs, that they make the groups of around 100 people to do self-protective 'gusht' of a few colonies...
Why can't there be a better option in life, after pouring in millions of rupees (5-6 million onwards) to get a home?

In the first place, Bhandup and Panvel are quite far from each other.
While Bhandup is still part of suburbs of Mumbai, Panvel is clearly not.
However, residents having to protect themselves is a worrying scenario. Sincerely hope that such things do not spread further scare and rumors amongst the residents. Being alert is important. But making groups as large as 100s to do gusht is something that should not happen for long time.
