(1) High cost. Take the example of Toyota Prius Hybrid Car. It costs cool Rs 27,55,770 - Rs 28,90,230 plus. Reva costs a cool price of Rs. 4,28,419 plus. How many people can afford them.
(2) Then there is the problem of recharging. You may have to take them home for recharging for a longer period of time. This is not very convenient.
(3) Design and Aesthetic look: Of course, Toyota Prius looks good. But what about Reva? Topgear, a popular British TV sports serial dubbed Reva as the ugliest car in the world.
