Sai Ram. That would be the right way to dispose off the sacred nirmalya offered to Deities but where is running water? In such cases, it is Ok to dispose it off by putting it in a pot or tulasi plant or put it on the roof where it is not stepped upon. Let water, air and sun take care of it.
