Religion has brought law and order in the society from the very beginning. In countries like China, they do not 'waste' time on religious rituals and ceremonies, sometimes going on for days like our country, if we consider it as 'wastage' of time. Instead, they work and earn for themselves and for the nation. We have too many festivals, rituals etc which atheists consider as 'waste of time and money'.

Religion preaches good principles and moral laws ... but practically people who believe it never follow them. They adopt their own laws and isms in the society....:-)

Religion is a product of the way of living of a certain community an age old social go of their life....and thus religion is not a faith that came into being overnight....hence itz not the religious faiths or doctrines that devides that man....rather itz the cause that gave rise for the evolution of a religion....By and Large a religion shows how are the ppl following such a faith....So ... as the religion is just the EFFECT and the CAUSE giving rise to such an EFFECT is in the culture, tradition,& Social way of life of certain communities NONE can blame or should blame the religion only....
