It is a great movie, part funny part serious. Opens up very seriously, you see a bubbly Kareena Kapoor and then the confusion and so on... But it worth a watch for a good performance by Kareena before she turned into Safina , and a very controlled performance by sahid.

The movie 'Jab We Met' was originally titled ' Punjab Mail' as the story dealt with two people who meet on a train to Punjab. It was later renamed to ' Ishq Via Bhatinda' But finally after Shahid Kapoor's suggestion, it was finalised to ' Jab We Met'. The title was recommended by Shahid Kapur, all of the titles wre put before a select audience and people were asked to choose which was the best title. Jab We Met came up as a winner. The idea to put a Hindi-English title was mooted actually by Pankaj Kapur, father of Shahid.

Theres a logic in it
if it would be "when we met " it could also mean as a question mark.
so jab would make it clear that the point of meeting.
