With changing time, r the nick names also changing? or we have same as we had earlier like pappu, raju, babloo, chintu and so on?

Names are more fashionalble these days that ealier Ramu type names. Now Paul, Sid, Sam, Jo are becoming very popular even nick names like RK, DJ, CJ, BJ, AJ, CM etec etc

Formally parents put the names according to indian culture and related with god and nick names were also very simple but nowadays nick names are also modernised and sometimes it resembles that of pets.

We got my name from our parents only. Earlier there was an innermeaning of name. But now in the changing generation when we are the parent we follow the present ultamodern fashination and lose the value of name.
