Due to the easy availability of firearms, the U.S. is the most violent industrialized nation on earth. In fact, we own more than half of all guns owned worldwide. And, it is estimated that more than 34 percent of households have a gun--in other words, our nation is swimming in a sea of deadly firearms. More guns will not make our families, communities or country safer. The gun lobby paints a romantic picture. If you have a gun in your home, you can ward off criminals lurking outside late at night. Not really,but some nations portray USA so.

Due to freedom given to media and lack of gun control laws (constitutional guarantee to carry arms) it appears USA is the most violent. They publish the statistics about crimes and indiscriminations of their citizens. There are many countries who just don\'t publish such a thing nor allow others to do it. So it\'s not possible to tell with any certainty.
