What is the difference between independant & republican country

A country not controlled by other people, countries etc.
Has space or territory which has internationally recognized boundaries (boundary disputes are OK).
Has people who live there on an ongoing basis.
Has economic activity and an organized economy. A country regulates foreign and domestic trade and issues money.
Has the power of social engineering, such as education.
Has a transportation system for moving goods and people.
Has a government which provides public services and police power.
Has sovereignty. No other State should have power over the country's territory.
Country where the head of state is not a monarch, either hereditary or elected, but usually a president, whose role may or may not include political functions.
A republic may be an aristocracy, oligarchy, or democracy.

An independent country is not under the rule of a foreign power. It may or may not be a a republic, like Australia, New Zealand, Denmark etc.
A republic is an independent country which has the highest executive elected by the people, like : India, USA etc

Independent means all state are united and have a common ruling.
whereas republican means all states come under one roof for common cause.
