Unfortunate. People who try to follow the rules and regulations with impartiality and do not oblige persons like Yedyurappa have to make way for those who have agreed to make compromises.
People like persons like Gowda but leaders want rubber stamps!
Having said this, caste factors also played a big part in this change of leadership in Karnataka.

Frankly speaking sadananda gowda should know what is democracy is. it is not behaving as per his whims and fancies. it is known fact that he should have majority to remain as leader of legislative assembly.
it is yediyurappa who brought him to the seat of chief minister. instead of holding him in same way he started behaving as though he is honest person and yediyurappa is bad.
he joined devegowda and started working againist yediyurappa groups and not allowed any funds to yeddie team.
he never bothered to hear grieviences of yeddie group members.
he gave bad report about yeddie to cec and clean chit to ex cms dharmsingh, sm krishna and kumaraswamy. this is clear partiality towards yediyurappa.
