With all our deficiencies, we have strong democracy. There is scope for correction.

It is rather something like weak government run by people who are under pressure from
1. Corporate houses - otherwise gas prices need not be as high as demanded by Reliance
2. Western countries - Otherwise Pakistan would have been Wiped out by now.
3. Underworld - Otherwise there would not have been masscares like 26/11

We need democracy where strict laws are there for every one to follow. Law breakers should be punished no matter who does it. Till this happens democracy will be a failure in India.
