I have not studied the full issues relating to Salman Rushdie. But one thing is sure, there cannot be liberty to write any thing one wants in the name of freedom of expression, if it hurts others. It is infringing with the rights of others.

No rajasthan government is not right, it has buckled in front of a motley crowd, because if it were secular, why did it not allow even a video conference of Salman Rushdie ? It is not at all secular, but the most inefficient of all governments
