I had purchased "Sundaram BNP paribas" ELSS mutual fund for 3 year lock-in period and invested sum of Rs10,000 (Feb 2009)...& I got the Tax benifit also ..But my question is that.....To maintain that ELSS account Is it i need to pay Rs10,000 this year also (feb 2010) .....??

You do not have to MAINTAIN. any elss account , the only exception is PPF where u have to make a deposit every year. Regarding Mutual Funds you dont have to make any investments in the same fund againand again, it is purely your choice to buy the same MF again in the next year or an ELSS MF of any other company.
there is no compulsion to pay rs 10000 this feb to sundaram
