Culture is the way you live your life - if dating is included then that is part of your culture.

If you read the Kama Sutra you will find the Indian way of approach to Sex!!! Happy reading. And compared to that dating is very very mild.

In one way or other 90% of youngsters do dating. But they do not call it or see it in the meaning as westeners see. So ultimately it is upto one's perception. Go ahead with meeting and spending time with your loveld ones

No. Can some one define here what's Indian Culture exactly is? I don't understand why many of us are highly bothered about personal choices in life affecting grossly a societies' culture unless freedom limits are not broken. I think there's no clarity among many of us about what defines and what drives cultural practices. Are we forcefully constraining ourselves in the name of culture? These things have nothing to do with "Religious beliefs". Culture slowly evolves with time as it is a mere practice of trends of a given time period. Then why there's so much discussion on this? Has any one tracked changes in Indian Culture through times? I think hardly any one did. We should grow mature enough to leave things like dating to the discretion of a person. At best we can advise our nears and dears not to indulge in such things if we feel it is not good for them. But nevertheless we have right to judge and force it on others as "Right or Wrong".
