Fear is one of the strongest tool for controlling of people. To encourage people to do something or dissuade people from doing something, the tool of fear is used. Suppose a leader of a group of people wanted his followers to refrain from telling lies, cheating, killing etc then they tried to prevent such happening from taking place by putting the fear of punishment as a consequence of such forbidden act. If they had told such and such things will happen within say one month is a person lied, then the predictions would have become verifiable and there were possibility that persons would stop fearing such prediction if the event as predicted does not take place. So these leaders of the tribe devised the concept of punishment which is not verifiable. So that people continue to be scared of the consequence of their wrong action. What are leading or aiming at yadav? ancient rishis were satya drashtas . meaning if rishis itself means one who spoke and knew truth. they preached love and harmony always. never frightened anyone. they imparted knowledge by which one could see and understand the real world and lead life in a dharmic way. only adharmic people who r frightened of their future turn cruel. insecurity turns men bad.

Let us analyze the outcomes of this in two cases. The first case being that "there's nothing like Hell" and second being "There is Hell". Now the first case.

Let us agree that our ancestors were pretty conscious about human behavior in a society and wanted to control them with something to bring them under one roof. Let us agree that "They created Hell which doesn't exist in reality". Now the big question is why they did that? What's the benefit in giving a false projection? One of which includes "Danda" which means scaring by punishing or threating to punish severly. If I show a child something that is really terrifying and scare him he will listen but as He matures he realizes that it can't scare him any more. Which clearly means yo ...more
