Which browser are you using. It is unlikely that popups are due to a virus. Use any popup blocker software . Most browsers have got a decent popup blocker bundled within . Check the help files on how to enable popup blocker

Hi Vidhya,

You can try to remove the virus entered to your PC by some anti virus soft wares ( like avast you can download it from http://www.avast.com/eng/programs.html its a free anti virus and the best as per my experiance using it since two years ) or ( you can also try mcafee's free tool from http://us.mcafee.com/virusInfo/default.asp?id=vrt&cid=9446 or scan your systme onlin from http://us.mcafee.com/root/mfs/default.asp?cid=9435 ) and if you are not able to install it any how then you need to boot your pc in dos and scan your pc by some dos based antivirus softwares like one is given at avast's site mentioned above.

if doing so doesn't solve your trouble then also try to immunize your system by anti-spy wares and anti-ad wares subsequently to above
